Palliative Care Fund

CFHN recognizes the gap in palliative services afforded to residents in Halton Hills and Milton and has created the Palliative Care Fund.

Financial support is required to bring and sustain hospice care in North Halton.  Through CFHN you can establish a legacy in palliative services that will benefit your community now and for generations to come.

Patients who receive hospice care have improved quality of life, with less depression and symptom burden; feel more in control; are able to avoid risks associated with treatment and hospitalization; and have decreased costs with improved utilization of health care resources.

Hospice is a type of palliative care provided when curative treatment is no longer beneficial or desired, and when life expectancy is measured in months or less. It supports patients and their families while focusing on symptom relief and comfort.

CFHN works with individuals, families, and organizations and together, we will bring a hospice to our community. If you have a charitable interest aligned with palliative care, consider a gift, directed to our Palliative Care Fund
