The Community Foundation of Halton North (CFHN) Grants over $250,000 to Charities in 2024
December 19, 2024
MILTON-HALTON HILLS, ON – The Community Foundation of Halton North (CFHN) is thrilled to announce that in 2024, the Foundation granted over $250,000 to support charitable organizations and nonprofits in North Halton. This contribution aims to enhance the impact of community initiatives, uplift local charities, and foster positive change in Halton Hills and Milton
CFHN is different and gaining in popularity. Why? It’s different because its donors and local volunteers direct long term funds annually in the community providing care-free philanthropy flexible enough for any and all charities. It’s For Good For Ever.
On December 4, donors, volunteers and many of the organizations that received grants in 2024 came to the Community Foundation of Halton North’s office for a celebration of philanthropy.
Chair of Marketing, Darryl Demille addressed the group and thanked everyone for attending and celebrating this significant event. Demille stated “CFHN builds endowments and grants back into the community. That’s what we do and that is what we need to continue to do, build the fund. If every charity had their own endowment, a steady stream of income would be granted to that charity, every year, forever and CFHN would be proud to help with that.”
CFHN has granted to 26 charities in 2024. They include:
- Acton Food Share
- Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton
- Community Living North Halton
